wireless printer

I have an XP desktop and laptop and 1 vista laptop. I have a brother MFC-665 all-in-one printer. I loaded the drivers in all 3 machines. Only the vista machine seems to work with the printer. I can't get any of the xp machines to print to the printer. My desktop is always giving an error. My laptop can't see the printer during setup. ANy help???

Is this printer an independent device or is it connected to one of the computers?

It is an independant device. Both laptops (xp&vista) are wireless and the desktop is connected to a wireless router (linksys WRGT54)
