Printer Problem and 64 bit question

Hello, I have a problem when I try to connect a printer on my network to my 64 bit windows machine. It says the wrong drivers are installed for the printer (which I know isnt true) and tells me to choose from a list. Should I just find the 64 bit driver for that same printer and install it? Would that work?

Does having a 64 bit windows on a network of 32 bit machines mean I am going to have tons of problems? I understand that some applications dont have a 64 bit install, but is there a way to install 32 bit apps on a 64 bit machine?

Probably at your experience level, but what the heck, you like to learn, right?

I don't have a 64 bit machine but everything I've read says yes to that.

ah hah! I have been away from here for a while but I looked for a 64 bit driver for this and alas to no avail. It seems lexmark didnt make one. Is there any way to make a 32 bit driver work for a 64 bit windows? Probably not but any help would be appreciated.

Family emergency, I have to be gone for about 2 weeks. See you around the end of March.
