Need a VoIP router with 4 ports
I have been trying to find a good 4-port wired ethernet router that has a feature to prioritize VoIP packets much the way the NetGear VoIP router can do. However, I need at least four ports, and that router only has one.
Can anyone recommend to me a good home office router that supports Vonage for VoIP communications, has 4-ports, stateful packet inspection, a firewall, etc. and can handle a great deal of bandwidth usage without becoming clogged with packets (as I have so many that did)? |

How about a $15 Ethernet switch, it'll solve the problem with a single port router? That's all the multiple ports on a router are anyway.

Trying to reduce the number of devices I need to have plugged in. Would be idyllic if I could find one with built in ADSL modem, 4 LAN ports, two phone jacks, and VoIP prioritization. That may be wishful thinking though.

Well, I'm at a loss as to why you'd go to all that trouble...
