LAN Computer.

Ill be hosting LAN Parties soon.
I have a computer with 1gb of ram a p4 550 cpu at like 3.7GHz.*think so.*

I need an OS to host the LANs.
Ill be hosting mainly CSS and other games, I just dont want to have limits. lol.

And I have a 24 port D-link switch. I plan to provide internet. I can run a wire from my home router to the switch, I have a up to 6meg package of DSL.
How do I get fast internet to all my users, like once there connected.

You can use any OS you want .
Your 6Mb DSL connection will surely be the bottleneck if all the users are requiring a constant feed with the games.
