Switch & Wireless
I am a network administrator.
I am working in a location containing sub-locations spread across 3-4 km radius. All the sub-locations are communicating through Wireless connected to Cisco Switches. When I run the "show cdp neighbours" command, two of the switches show a Cisco Switch as a neighbour which does not belong to my network. The interface through which they are showing the CDP neighbour is the interface through which wireless is connected. How is it possible? Should I suspect any intrusion in my network? Please explain & help. Thanx in advance. |
