Cannot ping or see one network computer
I have a wireless network set up among 4 computers. Computer A is connected to a router, while computers B,C, & D have wireless adapters. This network has been set up and working fine for a couple of years until recently. In a nutshell, Computers A, C, & D can communicate with each other. computers B, C, and D can communicate with each other. A and B cannot. B is listed in the workgroup on A, but cannot be accessed or "pinged". We are on dial-up, so only the main computer (A) is ever online; the other computers are strictly networked for file sharing. We all operate on XP (A is pro and others are home). The confusion comes in the fact that the main computer has access to 2 of the 3 others, and they have access to each other. It is only between the main computer and computer B that there is a problem. I have tried everything that I can think of and read every post I could find, but.....
Can anyone out there help??? |
