Network Monitoring
Hi, I don't know if this exists but I'm looking for some sort of utility to monitor my network. I want to know who's connected to it, how much data they've sent/rcvd, and what current bandwidth in/out they're using.
Am I asking for too much, or is there such a thing? |

if your are talking about for a business network, there are a few options out their, software and hardware. Check out this site, http://www.paessler.com/prtg . SNMP is the actual function, for monitoring a devices traffic, some netowrk devices support it, some dont.
Their are many other software tools, just look for SNMP in a search engine, it should become obvious. Last edited by SafeFromSites : 02-14-2007 at 10:56 PM. |
