Wireless Router?

I was wondering if i can use this to link a DSL internet connection and a printer to a xp machine and a vista premium machine? The two computers are about 25 feet apart, and there is not really a whole wall blocking any signals. Would this work? If not what would for my application? I am also guessing how it would hook up...dsl from modem to router. Ethernet from xp machine to a port on the router. Separate "reciever" that plugs into ethernet in the vista in the other room. Is this right? Thanks for any help.
