Wireless zero application

My network is dependent upon the windows wireless zero config and will not connect without. But whenever i restart my computer, i have to manually go in and restart it. Is there a setting that i can adjust that will make it automatically start. I am running Windows xp

Control Panel, Administrative Services, Wireless Zero Configuration, Properties. Set the startup type to automatic.

It is set to automatic. Thats why i am confused as to what would keep it from starting

Do you have a 3rd party wireless client, perhaps the one that came with the wireless card? If so, it'll automatically switch off WZC. Here's some additional information on setting up WZC, perhaps it's buried in there.
