DOS Networking

I help my Pastor maintain some computers at church. We have a wireless network with a Netgear wireless router. Last we some kid scared my pastor by showing him how to access another computer and see that computer's c: drive from the command prompt. It's not a shared drive and there are no mapped drives. I asked the kid how he did this and he said he just entered the ip address, which I know he is just bsing me. Does anyone know how to see anothers drive from the command prompt? I need to know so that I can button down the security.

Its a feature of XP PRO Hidden admin shares. What he typed was dir \\(IP ADDRESS)\C$.

Nope, just applies to XP Pro.
