Comodo Firewall update messed up my internet connection
So I said "yes" to a pop-up from Comodo Firewall that asked if I wanted to search for updates. After that, my internet connection got extremely slow. I looked in task manager and saw multiple instances of Firefox running, and I read that these, along with slow network connectivity, were symptoms of the Poison Ivy trojan. I uninstalled Firefox, checked the registry, ran a couple of adware programs and cleaned up my system with detected malware. Now when I connect my ethernet cable, the system won't even find an IP address. It's like my network card doesn't work anymore, except it seems fine in device manager. I never had a single issue before I asked for those updates. Also to be noted, my computer does not boot up in Safe mode, and hangs up at mup.sys. Please help!
