Network stops working
I have 4 computers on my home network 3 desk tops and one Laptop.
All computers were working just fine. now When my main computer is attached to the network the network stops working. The modem and router has to be reset in order for the network to work again. All the computers have windows XP. I have DSL with a modem and A Linksys 4 port wireless router. If i start my main computer frist and then start one of the other computers on my network the other computer will lock up half way throught boot up. This is not a new network. I went out and got a new router and modem same problem. I beleave it is something with my main computer. I ran virus and adware s/w. |

On the main computer:
Start, Run, CMD to open a command prompt: Type the following command: IPCONFIG /ALL Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here.
