Connection is dropped once in a while
I have my laptop connected to a Linksys WRT54G V6 (with a cable) and every now and then (not often, but still annoying) my connection is dropped. I’ve checked the other computers that are connected to the same router with a cable and they seem to be working when mine isn’t. The connection then comes back after 2 minutes or so. Rebooting the router or repairing my connection doesn’t seem to help. I just have to wait for a couple of minutes. What could be wrong, and how can I get it fixed?

1. Goto control panel
2. then double click on netwrok conntions 3. right click on local area connection and click on properties 4. then click on configure 5. Click on the power management tab 6. Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power 7. Then click OK.
