HELP Linksys
I have 2 Pc's connected on a Linksys WRT54GS router. They can both access the internet.
Bellsouth 3mb Static IP, Westell modem PC #1 Win XP home, SP2 NVidia MCP network integrated It gets the linksys login 4 times in a row when ever it boots up. PC #2 Win XP home, SP2 USB Linksys wireless 54G General Problems: From either PC logging in to the router gives a screen where there are no values, no tabs or sub selections at the top. I can't change anything. One time tech support told me how to HARD reset the router then, and ONLY the first access time from PC1, I saw everything! Immediatly on the second login, back to the same...... Therefore I can't set up the encryption for the wireless. I can't get either PC to see the other over the network, in any way shape , or form. My exp. is moderate and have done this several times with friends networks and all no problems. |

Are you sure you don't have a firewall in the way?
If you reset the router to factory defaults by holding the reset button down with power on for 10 seconds or more, you should be able to use the default login to the router. Never try to configure a router with a wireless connection, use a wired connection.

This is the screen I get whenever I login to the router.

If you've done a factory reset on the router and still get that, I'd call Linksys and get a replacement router.

I'm at a loss. Have you tried a different computer logging into the router?

Well, I'd sure try a second computer on a wired connection.
