Netsim 6.0 For Ccnp Help Needed...

I just downloaded NetSim 6.0 for CCNP, and I am going through the Lab lectures. I am at Lab 4 right now. The problem I am facing, is that when I enter into the configuration mode of a router, none of the configuration commands are accepted!! For example, if I enter the command:

hostname R1

I get this error:

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

The entire text looks like this:

Press RETURN to get started.

Router>
Router>enable
Router#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Router(config)#hostname R1
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

The same case applies to when I try the interface command in the configuration mode. In fact, the only command that works is exit !

Please help me.

Re: Netsim 6.0 For Ccnp Help Needed...

hi shah julie i was getting the same problme with this but you must install CCNP 7.0 with this i know hard to get cracked but there is a ways how to work this one with CCNP netsim 6.0 and then you should upgrade it onloine after getting it from torrent then it will download all commonds from it i was getting the problem in ISDN configuration when it was not getting dialer map commond then i get CCNP Netsim 6.0 with 7.0 from torrent and there is full information how to install it . follow the rules of the posted torrent it will work all commonds second some time have to restart it . but i would suggest you install Packet Tracer if you are in CCNA level and for CCNP as i am then you should use GNS3 this is with original Cisco IOS and good for lab prectise. if you have any question plz dont no hasitate to contact me thanks and bye for now
