Question Cannot connect to a share located on another domain

Hi,

I have the following problem:

I have setup a shared folder on a computer that has is own domain controler.

I am trying to access this share with a user that is not a member of that computer so i gave access to the Guests group on the share.

But when i try to access the share, i get the error: The user name could not be found. I'm guessing it tries to authenticate the user on his domain when it is a member of another domain.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'm sure this will work but my goal is to allow the user to connect to the share as his self. the reason why is because later i want to use that account to run a service that will copy files to that shared folder.

Every user i tried can access that share except for one and i have no idea where to look in order to find what difference that user has compared to other user's settings...

But thanks anyways,

F
