Good monitoring tool for access points
Hello,
I am looking for a good monitoring tool for wireless access points. We have a bunch or them, 50 or so throughout the county and we are looking for some decent software that can monitor the access points. They are Cisco Aironet 1200's if that helps. Thanks for any suggestions. Jason |

My absolute favorite program for this is NetStumbler. It's stigmatized because it's often used for wardriving, but this is just because it is so good at scanning for wireless networks.
It's especially useful in your case, because it can be used for auditing and you can save lists that it captures. You'll find it at http://stumbler.net/ Although I'm not exactly certain that this is what you're asking... if you need to remotely monitor them over the internet, there are ways to do this too- but you'll need to look in the manual for that.
