I do hope someone out there can help me. I am trying to network my desk top and laptop using; BELKIN WIRELESS G+ MIMO ROUTER AND G+ MIMO NOTEBOOK CARD. and it just ain't happening!! I have installed all relevent software for both. It is showing no signs of being installed on my desk top (no icons or what have you!) And the 'power' light is not coming on on the router, although the rest of the relevent lights are showing, and I can still acess the internet even though it's hooked up through the router! On the laptop it's stating all is fine and dandy, but will not connect. What am I doing wrong? I have tried accessing the Belkin tech support online, to no avail, as the site given does not seem to exist. And the tech support helpline is either down...or non-existent!!! Wired or wireless connections to each unit? What is the exact make/model of the Belkin units? What version and patch level of Windows on each machine?
On each machine, do this: For 98 or ME, Start, Run, COMMAND to open a DOS window: --- or --- For 2K or XP, Start, Run, CMD to open a DOS window: Type the following command: IPCONFIG /ALL Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here.
