PC not recognizing network card
Hi everyone
ok so I went to nvidia.com to update my drivers. I first uninstalled my old drivers, but when I did that, it seemed to have killed the internet (just on my pc). I resetted my modem/router, but that wasn't the problem. As soon as I open Firefox, it brings me to the Server not found page. I checked my device manager, and there is a ? next to one of the PCI devices.. could that be the problem? I think my pc just stopped recognizing my network card.. I don't know what to update it with.. *** did uninstalling these video drivers do? help! |

Hi Folk,
Since i belive that you internet on the PC got dropped only after updating the drivers ??? If your Windows XP - Why don't you try doing system restore to an earlier point were you could try to restore your computer to an earlier date before you started updating the drivers - It's a possible fix As the " ? " is concerned the device is been recogonised by your computer but the drivers for the device is not loaded properly thats the reason why the card isn't functioning . Try the system restore as its not going harm any of your data files stored in your computer. Revert for any further clarification ??? Thanks & regards Mr.Scorpion |
