my server computer has become an isolationist
i use windows xp to network 5 computers, peer to peer. 1 computer is the server computer.
this morning the server computer cant see the rest of the network, though it still see's the internet. the other 4 computers see each other & the internet, but dont see the server computer. when i try to access the server computer from another computer, either with explorer or peachtree, i'm told "server is not accessable; you may not have permissions" i tried running the network setup wizard on the server computer again, no luck. file sharing is on, thought first thing this morning it was off for some reason last evening i got the latest 10 windows updates computers are all less than 2 years old, lots of ram etc. what should i try next? |
