Outlook 2003 Connection Interrupted
I have Outlook 2003 on a laptop which I transfer back and forth between my network and my schools network. I have discovered that more often than not I get "The connection to the server was interrupted". When I open outlook when I'm on my network I can only connect when I'm on my network and get connection interrupted when I am on my schools network, and visa versa. I think that since the pop server is located within the schools network there is an issue with outlook not performing a DNS lookup on the server address and it is trying to connect to the wrong IP address. Is this a DNS issue or something else? Is there a way to solve this problem, other than restart outlook?
Thanks. |
