Server Communication is Being Blocked
I tried to setup a server (mostly for Teamspeak) on my home computer. I've registered a free domain name from DynDNS.org, set it to my router, opened ports and I can access the site using the domain from my internal network (127.0.0.1 would also work here)
It should be working, but on my friends side way over in Verizon ISP territory (I have Comcast) he can't access what I've created. He can't even ping my ip. What step am I missing here? By the way the domain name is aeuzent.ftpaccess.cc. to test it in a browser use aeuzent.ftpaccess.cc:14534. That's the Teamspeak admin page, none of you have a password so I'm not worried. |

IF he can't ping your IP, you probably don't have ICMP responses enabled in your router. What happens when he does a TRACERT to your DynDNS address?
BTW, I've had issues trying to get DynDNS to update using the router's updater, I just run it on a computer on my network, that works fine.
