someone help me
Ok friends.I am new out here.My problem is that i just started a high speed internet connection a week back.It was working fine until today.I use a dell latitude d610 laptop. Now i cannot connect to the net.If i switch to wireless from a different fellows account the net runs fine.I checcked my modem and the data light is also flickering like normal. When i check my network places and see details of the modem,it give the ip address, subnet mask,10mbps.........Everything looks fine. But when i open internet explorer it just can't connect to a page.Even AVG anti virus can't check for updates. What has happened out here? Was there a conflict between wireless of one account and cable connection of a different account??

If using XP with Service Pack 2:
Start button, Run, CMD netsh winsock reset Wait for the prompt that a restart is required. Restart the computer. . Make sure you have a firewall enabled . Make sure you are up-to-date at Windows Update . Consider adding if you do not have one an active anti-spyware/malware utility. If using XP you can use Windows Defender, it is free: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en .
