Can anyone give me the HOW TO's of wireless networking. I'm altogether new in this matter. Any tutorials which can help me out?

Thanks in advance

its quite simple really.

You need a device to send and receive Wireless signals. You could either have a wireless router which just replaces the router you use now for your internet, or a wireless access point which you plug in to your router or switch (what i use)

Then on each computer that you wish to connect to this wireless network you need a device that allows wireless network connectivaty. This could be a Internal network PCI card or a USB network pen drive type device. New laptops quite often come with wireless built in.

then you simply plug in, install and use software to search and connect. easy peasy :)

if your thinking of changing to wireless, take in to account how far away the compters are from each other and where the wireless router/access point will be, walls, and any other wireless devices like phones that may interfear.
