Belkin F5D5231-4 Connection Problems

Im using a wired Belkin F5D5231-4 to route for a couple of computers. NTL broadband and modem.
Connection seems solid when im doing basic things, surfing, msn etc...
But whenever i do anything more, Teamspeak, Games etc... I get very frequent disconnects... these only happen for a second or so, but thats more than enough to screw up what im doing...
Spoke to Belkin and they did the old firmware, restore factory settings malarky, and, unsuprisingly, this has done nothing to fix the problems...
Ive read some thing about a disconnection timer on a PPPoE system, but Im using Dynamic so...?
Anyway, please help me, Ill give you ice-cream

First off, have you connected the computer directly to the modem to make sure it's actually the router that's the issue?

Course :) I thought I'd mentioned that :S whoops
Yeah, Im using it most of the time direct to the modem and its absolutely fine,
But other ppl need the line every now and then and so when i connect to the router its rubbish.
I phoned belkin again and they reckon the modem is busted and to take it back, but that sounds to me like they dont know what I'm talking about and are fobbing me off.

I'd be sending the router back to Belkin.
