Mucho grande issues...
Well, im having problems connecting to remote servers...and other computers on my network. That being said the computer connects to the internet with blazing speed (It has an internal 10/100/1000 nic) and there seems to be no problems, but I cant connect to game servers (other than through gamespy) tv guide servers (ive got an ati all-in-wonder) Some download servers, and a bunch of others. Ive shut down all programs that may be causing confliction, I maticulously went through ALL of the services and ALL of the security polocies, turned off firewall (which is properly configured to allow me access anyway). In addition to that, I tried to put a pci nic card in, same situation, Im using the 10/100/1000 thats on my M.B. and there isn't any hardware firewall that im aware of, I built this computer very recently and it was working fine untill about a month ago (which coencedentally, was when I installed the ati all-in-wonder, but ive made sure its not conflicting either) all of the other computers on the network, 11 in all, connect fine...save my sisters which is having the same problem.... This problem has stumped 1 guy with a degree in network administration, 2 experienced hackers, 3 network admins at my school, and 2 die-hard geeks, as well as myself (obviously) Any help would be appriciated, so answer my problem while i go and change a 113gb hard drive from fat to ntfs...

Please turn your firewall back on.
1. Describe your connection physicly -- I assume to a router. Who makes the router? Is this T-1, ADSL, Cable? 2. Post back here the results of an IPCONFIG /All 3. What error message do you see, or do you see only a blank screen when you try to access these sites? Are these sites HTTPS or HTTP or both? 4. Is it safe to assume you can ping the IP of a server you cannot view in IE? 5. Start, Run, CMD netsh diag gui Post the results back to the Forum 6. Start, Run, CMD netsh winsock reset Wait for a message that a restart is needed. Restart your computer. And post the answers to my questions back to the Forum. .

I will try this when i get home, not sure who the router is made by as it was issued to us by roadrunner and there is no way for me to tell who made it, and btw, im using wired connection via cat6 cable to a netgear modem. And i can view webpages, my problem is connecting to servers to download information via programs, internet explorer has no problems whatsoever.
