D-link DI-624
Alright, so i have this router (di-624), and i have the right network card to go with it. I also bought a 7Dbi antenna to get more reception, and my computer still only has one bar, sometimes 2. My internet constantly goes off and on, and sometimes i have to go and physically restart my router.
If anyone has this router, or knows the firmware, could you give me some tips on how to alter the firmware to get a better reception? I've enabled the extended range mode, disabled the gaming setting, but no luck. I was wondering if changing the channel of the router (currently on 6), or changing any other settings would get me better reception? |

Firmware
A simple google search pulls up some stuff you may have already found. But just in case, here you go.
product page at DLink For the firmware, you will have to look up some informatin on the back/underside of the router itself. There's diagrams and links at the following: Firmware Good luck!
