msn messenger 7.5.0324 troubleshooting

Hi, I unable to sign in my email address with msn messenger 7.5.
So I try troubleshoot it. All the test seem to be ok but only the "key ports" can't pass the test.

the messege showed that " failed to connect to the services. This could due to improper proxy or firewall settings. Please review your proxy and firewall setting. Proxy can access through MSN Messenger Options. For Firewall Setting, please see the retailer's instruction."

But I already allow and tick the MSN Messenger.exe under exceptions which under firewall setting. But why still unable to sign in ?

which TCP - Socks port are u using? 1080 is the default port. Also is this machine on a Domain?

yes the the default port is 1080. Oh ,yes forgot to tell the important problem...which is

When I tried typing my email address in msn messenger there, the msn program already in "not responding" status( program hang) and need to wait for few seconds only return to normal....each word I typed , also need to wait for few second and return to normal (Online status).

But I can type the email address and password smoothly... (while in the offline status).

After that, I click sign in .... the troubleshooting messege appeared and just like the first messege I post above...

what problem is this?
