to reduce the speed of broadband internet connection

i have bsnl broadband service in my town. i want to take 512 kbps with 10
GB download/upload limit service. but i want to reduce 512 kbps speed to 200
kbps to restrict heavy downloads in LAN network. sir please help me to find a software which reduce the speed of broadband internet connection so that my limit should not exceed 10 GB limit

Reducing the speed at which your broadband connection runs is not going to affect the amount of data you decide to upload/download.

Greetings mybaadusha, and Welcome to TSF.

Here in Australia, most ISP's will either limit your speed, or stop your connection if you exceed your Plan Limit [in your case 10Gb.].

Perhaps you should contact your ISP and ask them if there is away around your plight.

hi all,
i have the problem as Mybaadhusha has, how can i limit the usage to an individual user,for example suppose if i want to give only 10 MB to upload/download per hour. how can i do this? thanks in advance

even if i reduced the speed of internet, i can collect some more money from the user by extending their working hour.i am awaiting for some useful solution.
