Can't figure out how to share a printer

Hi, I set up my home network about one month ago with no problems. All i attempted to do, at the time, was to make sure all the computers in our house could connect to the internet via our DSL connection. However, I have gotten a little greedy now, and would like to allow all of our omputers to be able to send tasks to the only printer in the house. The printer is not connected to the computer that is hardwired into the internet connection, but I don't think that should be the issue. On the computer that the printer is attached to, I have chosen "Share this printer" and on the other computers, I have attempted to use the "Add a printer" function, chose "network printer", browsed for a printer, and the desired printer has not been found. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way to add that printer to the other computers? Thanks in advance,

-Pat

Whoops, neglected to mention that all computers are running Windows XP, and that the printer is an HP OfficeJet 4215...any suggestions?

check the security tab and make sure 'everyone' is listed and allowed to print.
can the pc's ping and see each other?
file and printer sharing is installed on each pc?

i'm assuming the printer is working okay with the pc it is connected to.
