Net Command <runas>
I am trying to use this command to connect to another users local account on a networked system. When I enter in this command it opens the computer management console of my local computer. Any ideas?
runas /netonly /user:NW-W2K-SAV-01/JPGR "mmc %windir%\system32\compmgmt.msc"

Didn't know you could use Runas like that. Pretty cool. I will have to try this out tommorow.
Does it matter which slash you use before the Username. All the documentation I read says you need to use a Backslash. I would think you could perform this same task with Sysinternals Psexec program. http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/PsExec.html Last edited by Squashman; 06-02-2006 at 09:22 PM. |
