Suggestions for going from Wireless to Wired

The easy way to do this would be to run a wire under the carpet to a switch and be done with it. But I really don't want to possibly damage the carpet in the process so, I want to get it done wirelessly.

The task is to get a wireless G signal from my wireless router/DSL Modem (2link) to my non-wireless TIVO and Xbox. While I know I can get wireless adapters for them both, the TIVO can only use WEP security but I want to USE WAP.

Will a Linksys WET54G and switch work for this purpose?

Great, thanks for the help. I was concerned that I would have to buy two of them to make a bridge. I'll go shopping now.
