Connecting two home computers
I tried connecting two home computers, but I didn't go into network settings. I merely connected with a ethernet cord to my cable modem. A better way would be though the ethernet cord, as well as network settings. Right? One computer has a cable modem while the other has a 3com ethernet modem. Suggestions. Got a few ideas from http://www.makeitsimple.com/how-to/simple.htm

If you have two computers and an Ethernet modem, the easy way to do this is with a broadband router.
