Network Problem Please Help

I am having a network problem so i will show you my setup first.

Verizon DSL Westtell 6100 Modem----Linksys WRT54G Router---- Dell PC 2.6 P4, 512MB Ram, Windows XP & My PC I Built(info in signature)


Here are the problems:

1. Websites timeout all the time
2. If they dont timeout they are super slow loading
3. I am paying for 3.0mbps and im barly getting 1.0
4. I never acually loose a connection but i have the above problems
5. My modem lights are all on

I contacted verizon and there engineers tested the lines and said that the problem is coming from inside my house. They said that there are no problems with the line and they are pumping in 3.3mbps.

Can someone please help me with this issue.

Purchase a DSL splitter and install it at the telco service entrance. Run a direct line from the DSL port on the splitter directly to the DSL modem. Connect all of the other phone instruments to the telephone output of the DSL splitter.

This is as good as it gets for DSL installations, and will usually solve in-house wiring issues.
