10/100/1000 Gigabit PCI Adapter
Hello
I was looking to increase my internet speed and was looking at a 10/100/1000 Gigabit PCI Adapter. I am assuming that it is the same as a 10/100 network card just faster. I am currently using a DSL modem. I haven't been able to find out if there is any other equipment needed. The increase in speed isn't a problem for my ISP. Does anyone know if i may have to change my modem or if there is any other equipment that may be needed. Or am i mistaken about everything and just wasting your time and mine Thanks |

Look on your intrnet bill. Unless you are able to get over 100MB service to your house via DSL, the new card will not make the internet even faster.
The only way to speed up your internet is to pay for faster service from your ISP.
