Linksys WRT54GS with HP Laptop Problem
I have a ZE4430US laptop with a built-in wireless adapter that doesn't want to connect properly. It will connect, then disconnect. It cycles about every 10 seconds. This morning, I think the laptop messed-up my pc wireless connection...Doing the same "cycle" as the laptop. As soon as I shut the laptop down, the pc connection went back to normal. I downloaded the latest driver for the adapter. I have the encryption set at 128 bit, and the connection settings on the laptop doesn't seem to show 128. Could it not be compatible with the router, or the encryption rate?

No, 104 bits is really 128 bits.
It's probably to complicated to explain why, but just use the 104 bit setting on one end and the 128 bit setting on the other end. Also, use hex passwords, they should be 26 characters (104 bits), don't use the ASCII passcode option.
