Vonage issue
I'm having trouble with my vonage phone service. I'm using an RCA-dcm245 cable modem on a Comcast Cable hookup, an RTP300 Linksys router provided by Vonage, and an HP Pavilion xt963 running Windows XP professional.
Whenever I connect these devices together from scratch, they work fine for a few minutes, then no phone service, and slooow to no internet service at all. If I take the RTP300 out of the equation, and reset the RCA modem, I can get back on the internet, but that doesn't help with the phone. I've contacted Vonage and they've walked me through steps to get eveything running, but then it all goes out after a few minutes. I'm waiting on a reply from Comcast, but I figured I'd come here to the best tech support folk in the world. I should've started here from square one, forgive me. Please help a guy out in need to get services running again. Thanks, Soul |

There may be no help, other than Vonage getting you a decent adapter. I have Vonage and I use a Motorola VT1005V adapter, no issues with that one.
