Need some help plz
Hey all,
I have a netgear gateway rt314. I was running my XP PC and linux pc just fine not long ago. I have been remoting and working ftp without a problem, until last week I disconnected my XP PC and took it to my GF's place. Now, when I try to connect to my debian server, i get nothing. I can't even ping its ip. My roomate hooked up her XP laptop to the router and she can browse the net, and when she goes to whatismyip.com its the same as before, only I cannot ping that address. I have not changed any router settings. What could removing my XP PC from the laptop have done to prevent me from pinging my external IP address? I havent been home since then so I havent tried to connect to the router internally either. Any help of suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Warren |
