How do I open ports?
I need to ensure that the following ports are open:
# 4662 TCP # 4672 UDP # 4711 TCP How do I check if these ports are open? If they aren't open then how do I open them? Incedentally, I don't use a router. I use a speedtouch 330 broadband modem. Thanks for any help!

Hi!
Hope this will help you, unfortunately it will work only on winXP Go to start->settings->control panel->network connections right click on your connection, select properties go to the advanced tab, enable the windows firewall, select settings at the bottom and at the services tab, click add. Fill in the boxes and select "UDP" OR "TCP" Add the other ports too.. If you're using another firewall, for example, zonealarm, search for how to open ports in their documentation. I hope this helps u _sniper11 |
