Computer connection lost.

My internet connection stops responding, and I can't access messenger programs or webpages.

I'll be surfing the net then all of a sudden, my connection stops responding and I must restart my PC (I've tried simply turning off/on the router and modem, it doesn't work). When my PC reboots, everything's fine for a while, then it happens again.

I've got the latest versions of Mcafee and Zonealarm

But, obviously something is wrong.

How about posting a current HijackThis log and let our security experts take a look at it.

Ive looked at alot of post's and it seems that alot of people are having this problem including me but nobody can put there finger on it - there seems to be no problems with other devices connecting to the router but as soon as the PC gets turned on the internet coneection drops after a few minutes of being on there. Ive bought a Internet suite (macfree) thinking it was a virus but no, also ive got spybot search and destroy to remove any unwanted adware etc the problems are still there. im thinking that maybe older modem/router drivers confliucting with newer ones. someone please help us
