Ethernet issue
I am trying to install SBC Yahoo DSL on to my PC, but when I get to the detect the connection part it says it cannot detect the modem. Everything is plugged in, but on the back of my motherboard where the Ethernet plug goes the light is orange, not green. I don't know if that means anything. I have tried two modems on this, and the lights are always green on the power, Ethernet, and DSL LEDs. Could it be my Ethernet card isn't enabled? I have never had to deal with DSL before, so my experience is limited.

Normally, the color of the LED indicates the speed it's connected at. I'd contact the SBC tech support, they're supposed to help you get past issues like this.
