Verizon DSL problems

I, too, am having verizon problems. Due to a delinquent phone bill, my service both phone and dsl were terminated. I took care of the payment and did everything that i needed to get my services restored. However, when my phone service was restored, my dsl was not!!! I have been going back and forth with verizon for about 6 weeks now trying to resolve this problem and all i have have gotten is the runaround!! NOONE at verizon tech support seems to know what the problem is. I am so disgusted with trying to resolve this issue. I decided to give them one more chance, since in the area i live in, verizon is the only dsl server that i can have. I again was told that I would have to wait 48 hours for a technician to contact me. The last 3 times they told me this, I never received a phone call, and my open trouble ticket was closed. My service worked fine until the disconnection occurred. I continue to have a blinking DSL light, I cannot to cinnect to the verizon server, and they cant seem to tell me why. I have closed the dsl account they set me up with when my service was reconnected and opened a new one 2 weeks ago, but that did not solve my problem. I restored my computer, thinking that i would just start all over again with all the verizon info on my dsl service in case something was causing my problem. I have very limited computer knowledge but can manage if being walked through something. I have a westell 327 modem. If anyone else has had similar problems i would certainly appreciate hearing from you. Thx

even though it appears you're having the same problem, please start a new thread. It's very difficult to keep two problems straight and who's working on what in a single thread. Thanks for your cooperation.

This is obviously a problem that Verizon has to solve, I can't imagine what we can tell you.
