DirecWay or WildBlue?

I have researched both companies, and it almost seems as if I am comparing apples to apples, but then I see that DirecWay uses KU band, while WildBlue uses KA band. I kinda get the difference, but I am on the fence, I don't know which service would be the best value and most reliable. So, any suggestions?

I don't have any experience with satellite service providers but I did find this quick comparison between the two.

I ordered DirecWay, I will post about how well it works. Networking between two houses is going to be interesting. I posted a thread in networking on that situation. From some of the reviews that I have seen, I hope we don't have some of the bad experiences. However, most of the bad experiences with DirecWay seem to be before the new dw7000 router was out. It looks like the dw6000 wasn't very good.

I bought an old DW4000 and installed it myself. I live way out in the mountains were there is no land line for phone. The system was 100$ and it is just the service of 60$ a month. I have no choice in the matter. Either system should work good for you. I am still using my old DW4000 as of now, several years. Direcway updates my system with software. My computer is only 700mhz and I have seen downloads of 8000kbps. My DW4000 can go up to 10600kbps. Weather does slow it down, but it still works. Snow or ice on the dish will stop it, but I just broom it off and I'm back online. This system is great if your in the boondocks.
