Help! Problem with router?

Hi.

Ive recently been having some minor problems with my router at home, and im scared that something bad might happen in the future. I use a buffalo wireless router (forget the exact model number) and sometimes the internet connection gets really slow or stops working altogether even though it still says im connected. If i switch the router off and then on again it goes back to normal. Ive already done this many times, and my computer isnt actually connected wirelessly but others are.

I have a friend who has had the same problem and right now his internet connection is a bit screwed up. He said that his problems started the same as mine and then they got gradually worse. Im now afraid that i will be the same and eventually its all gonna get screwed. What should i do? I think the problem may be related to torrents, since the connection usually does this after downloading through bitcomet. And also my friend can go on the internet but he cant download through torrents for some reason. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong?

Cheers.

We provide no help with P2P issues, so I'm afraid we can't help you here. My only advice would be to get rid of the P2P software, and I suspect your problems will go with it.
