Us Robotic Modem " Not Set For Dialup"

WINME/ Bare bones mem/10 gig HD. , COMPAQ

Install my ISP to connect, Device Manager reconizes MOdem

ButAfter conneting A FLAG come up " NOT set for Dial up" ISP shuts down before Website displays so to look at EM.

All settings are corret to document to Modem. H-E-L-P!!!!

Looks like the pc or at least the network side still sees the old modem. Go
into control panel under modems, you can run a diagnostic there. If you
happen to see the old modem in there remove it. You may check network
properties as well to insure old modem is not there. You may try using the
network wizard to help you install the modem. Alot of times that does the
trick for me..
