Cannot access internet
I am running windows XP, and I have a wireless router and cable modem. I have a desktop hard-wired and my laptop is wireless. My problem is I can't get on the internet with my pc. It seems like it's about to connect, but then...
This started one night after I came home from work. My wife says she was using the laptop and not the desktop, so it couldn't have been her doing. I notice the receive packets are much lower than my send. And only one "TV" is blinking. I had this problem with my laptop when I first got it, and after calling HP(with no results), I wound up having to reformat my hard drive. I hope that won't be the case again with my desktop. I unplugged the modem AND the router(Linksys), to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm lost. Last edited by bklyn_bklyn : 12-13-2005 at 06:21 PM. |
