Hi,

Try this:

Go to Start, Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager and find the modem area. Expand it with the +, then right click and delete or uninstall the modem.

Shut down and move the modem to PCI #3 (third slot down from the video card slot)

Note: If this is not a pci dial-up modem, then this is not appropriate for what you are doing. I had assumed this was dial-up, since it is posted in the dial-up area.

Hello ,
Thanks For The Info But The Only Problem Is That It Doesn't Show A Modem Area And It Doesn't Have Ports To Plug One Into The Moden Thats In It Doesn't Plug In To The Motherboard It Hooks Up With A Cable When I Boot It Up It Says That The PCI Simple Comunnications Control Needs To Be Installed That I Need To Connect To The Internet So It Can Find The Driver For It. So That Leads Me Back To The Problem Because I Can't Connect To The Internet Because It Doesn't Show A Modem. I'm Not Sure What Kind Of Computer This Is It Has No Name On The Case But The Model No. On the Back Is BK630 It Is About 101/2 Inches Wide And 12 Inches Deep And 3 Inches Tall So Maybe Someone Can Help Me And As Far As The Modem Goes I'm Not Really Sure What It Is But I Don't Think That Is The Problem I Think It's Gonna Fall Back On The PCI Simple Communication Control . So If Anyone Can Help Me I Would Really Appreciate It. Thanks

At this point, you may just want to pick up a new modem. Some modems are VERY HARD to id and find drivers for. I think you have one of these.

The link I gave you said it might work with that FCC ID. Guess not.
