PLease help
i just came back from a customers house and i couldnt hook up a wireless router, i believe i followed the directions but im not sure what the hell is going on.....the router is a linksys wireless-B and the pc is connected through dsl.....im kinda confused when to turn the pc off and what steps to take in reseting the modem, router, etc.....
i first ran the setup disk and it checked if there was a internet connection and it verified that, then the screen told me to connect the router to the modem, did that, then the router port to the pc and that all went fine, but at the end of the installation when it asks you your verizon username and password, i typed it in but then it said it couldnt configure router nor find an internet connection but how the hell is it gonna find the connection if the routers not configured.....please anyone,,,,if you guys dont know, do u know of any web sites or phone # i can use to get info......thanks for the help sincerely |

Get the Verizon modem working directly on the machine first, then add in the router. You may have a DSL issue, I'd eliminate that first.
