I hate SBC!!!!

Ok, it's tough for me to put into words how much I despise SBC dsl service. I've had nothing but service interruptions for the past 3 days. Funny thing is when I connect through their dial up service and then disconnect and plug my dsl modem back in.....poof!! DSL works fine. Utterly confusing. Anyone know what could be causing this? I can't wait to drop them and switch to cable. Anyone have recommendations for a good cable provider? In my area we have BrightHouse RoadRunner service.....don't know much about them. Thanks.

I use Road Runner's standard service. It's VERY fast (5.0Mbps actual speed, I've tested it) and stable.

It would help people make recommendations if they knew what area "In my area" was.
