dsl problem

my dsl is suppose to run over 300 mbps and on my little 2 computer thing on my taskbar it only says 100 mbps so i was wondering what is wrong please help and ty :)

Are you sure of the speed on your DSL? That is much faster than most offer.

The 100 Mbs is the speed of your network card and/or modem/router.

I think someone is pulling your leg. If the DSL connection is coming in the conventional way, riding on a copper phone line, there's no way it even approaches speeds 1/10 that fast.

This is obviously someone's attempt to be funny, but I'm not laughing.
